Splendor In The Grass, is the brand new album

from the eclectic, celebrated 12-piece little

orchestra Pink Martini. The record is the long

awaited follow-up to the band’s wildly successful

2007 release Hey Eugene!, which was a Top 40

hit in the UK and No.1 on Amazon in the US.

The album is classic Pink Martini, composed of

nine original songs and four covers, with songs

in English, Neapolitan, Italian, French and

Spanish -  a wondrous tapestry of textures,

sounds and cultures alongside excursions into

1970s, modernist minimalism, classic ranchera

featuring the legendary singer Chavela Vargas ,

and swing. The first single is “Sing” made

famous from Sesame Street, so it is fitting that

this version features Emilio Delgado, famous as

Luis on Sesame Street.
