Avril Lavigne's first album in over 5 years, including the title track Head Above Water and Tell Me It's Over. The Canadian Pop/Rock/ singer-songwriter became an international star in the 2000s with her Punk influenced Pop anthems and Punk image. As almost two decades progressed, so did Lavigne's sound change. A pair of hit albums later, she took a three year hiatus from the spotlight to focus on health issues related to Lyme disease, returning with her 6th album 'Head Above Water' in 2019. "I wrote songs in my bed and on the couch and recorded there mostly as well," she added. "Words and lyrics that were so true to my experience came pouring out of me effortlessly. Truly... by keeping my spirits up, having goals to reach and a purpose to live for, my music helped to heal me and keep me alive." -
