Their second album, Toulouse Street (1972) was the Platinum Award winning record with which the Doobie Brothers broke through internationally.
Carrying the Classic Rock hits "Listen To The Music" and "Jesus Is Just Alright", the album also offers other highly interesting tracks that put this seminal Seventies Rock group on the map. Tracks like "Mamaloi", the beautiful title track ballad and the highly soulful & funky "Cotton Mouth". Finding a balanced mix of Rock, Country, Folk and R&B, the band found themselves in the same waters as the Eagles and Allman Brothers Band, but then with even more variety.
Released in a gatefold sleeve, just as the original North American and UK issues. This one hasn't been available on vinyl in 30 years – the Music On Vinyl reissue marks the very first 180 gram audiophile version.
